I am excited that the Pau Wau Publications crew included this zine of drawings in there ZINE TIME Project.  They put together twenty zines by twenty artists.  The Newsstand is at the Lorimer L stop right now.  The zines in the series are only $1 each(bring a bag of quarters)!! Lele Saveri is running things over there.  A bunch of good books and posters and stickers and other things by a bunch of good people.  Go get some stuff!

I thought this spread was neat from a pamphlet from 1952 about the True-Life Adventure Series from Disney.  I like watching those movies but had never seen any of the people behind making them.

I will be doing a project at the Whitney Museum this Sunday that I wanted to invite you to. It will take place just down the steps after you walk in. We will all be drawing pictures of people and putting the pictures up on the wall for the day. We will all be showing work at the Whitney!

Supplies will be provided. Cookies will be provided by Milk Bar. I made a book of drawings that will also be free for you (if you’d like) and there will be other things.

The project will coincide with the new Edward Hopper drawing exhibition at the museum.

Pterodactyls

I am excited to invite you to an art show of my work this Thursday evening in Brooklyn at Tiny Empire.

The art show will include neon works, beet ink paintings, dinosaurs, and more.

Tiny Empire, which is a smoothie and juice bar, will also be releasing a new drink called The Polan at the exhibition. When the Tiny Empire people initially mentioned the possibility of this I said I wanted it to taste like a cheeseburger. Come see if they succeeded!*
