Lydia Fong has a show of work at Ratio 3 Gallery. If you have a chance to see it, see it.

I made a drawing of Barack Obama and Jed Bartlet for the New York Times yesterday.

I like The Curiosity Shoppe.

A 20x200 Edition was released today. It is called 132 Birds at The American Museum of Natural History. For the edition of 200 you get a book with a little hand drawn bird on the cover. On the inside is 132 birds from the museum. For the medium edition you get the book with a 12"x16" drawing of a one of the birds(done with an ink/paint concoction that I have been drawing with) and for the largest one (limited to 2) you get the book along with a 29.5"x39.5" drawing of one of the birds. I hope that you enjoy the edition.

There is an art show at the Grotto Gallerie this Saturday, the 20th, that looks like fun. Shawn Creeden is one of the curators. I do not know anyone who can draw a better walrus than him.

Also, this Thursday is the opening to the inaugural exhibition from Melanie Flood Projects. Oh my!

Mel Kadel has some drawings in Brooklyn right now. You can see them if you get there before October 5!

Travis Millard is also really good at drawing.

Leigh Ledare has a show at Rivington Arms right now on 2nd Street right near John Derian Company. Leigh is dealing with things that are intense and at times scary. The way he presents his work is incredible. The placement and attention to absolutely everything is worth seeing if you have a chance.

Lee Walton did a book signing at Strand Bookstore today.
