The original scroll of Jack Kerouac's On The Road is on view right now at the library at 42nd Street. You can only see a portion of it because the whole thing is 120 feet (the room isn't that big)! They have some other really interesting Kerouac things (his crutches used after a football injury at Columbia)--and some great memorabilia from other writers.

The scroll will only be on view through this Sunday the 24th, I am sorry I posted this so late in the exhibition, I hope you get to see it if you want to.

This exhibition has some intense drawing. It is the artist Eduardo Santiere and it is at Haim Chanin on 19th Street.
