There is an exhibition of some of the work (among other things from the library's collections, including the real version of the above drawing, (I did, I am sorry to the original artist of this page, I felt guilty taking a picture of it)) that went into Lauren Redniss' new book Radioactive. The show is really good and it is always nice to walk through the library. Give it (the book, the exhibition, and the library) a look if you have a chance.

There is a new issue of Faesthetic out!! Dustin Hostetler has been putting this terrific magazine/art book out for the past 723 years (maybe not that long, but I like the fact that it feels like he has always been working on it). Celebrate this anniversary with him. He always finds a bunch of good people for each issue. I am looking forward to seeing it!

(Maya Hayuk did the above letters.)

This drawing is in an art show right now at Future Tenant in Pittsburgh. Looks like some good work. Jerstin Crosby knows how to put it together!

Got to take a look at some things going on at 6 Decades Books and Sit and Read today. The space is run by nice people with good taste.

I particularly liked this stump.

I just got the first issue of Open Heart that Ashley Neese put together. The theme of the issue is love. There are some terrific things in there.

Ashley included the drawing I did above from the big jaws at the Natural History Museum.

I have been enjoying Charlie B. Ward's work a lot lately.
